|  | USB Plug and Play Parallel 8-Bit FIFO Module
The USBMOD2 lets you add a USB interface to your robot or other microcontroller project in less than an hour. The USBMOD2 transfers data between your project and a host PC at up to 8 Million bits per second using 12 I/O pins. Based on the FTDI FT8U245 USB FIFO IC, it can be interfaced to an MCU using memory mapping, DMA or a simple I/O pin interface.

The USBMOD1 lets you add a USB interface to your robot or other microcontroller project in less than an hour. The USBMOD1 transfers data between your project and a host P.C using 4 I/O pins in a simple serial interface. Based on the FTDI FT8U232AM USB UART IC, the USBMOD1 has a maximum data transfer rate of 920k baud using RS232 or 2000k baud use RS422 or RS485.
