This is a fully assembeled and tested breadboarding development system for all 18-pin PIC microcontrollers including: 16C52, 16C54, 16C56, 16C58, 16C554, 16C556, 16C558, 16C61, 16C620, 16C621, 16C622, 16C71, 16C710, 16C711, 16C712, 16C715, 16C716, 16C717, 16C84, 16E623, 16E624, 16E625, 16F627, 16F628, 16F83, 16F84, and 16F818.
General Features:
- Overall board dimensions 5.50" x 4.50".
- 2-layer PCB with solder masks and a informative silk screen legends.
- 18 pin ZIF socket for the PIC.
- 350 pin solderless breadboard.
- Power and GND pins run the length of the breadboard on both the top and bottom.
- All 16 microcontroller port pins brought out to an 18 pin inline socket at the top of the breadboard.
- ICSP programming header.
- 4 rubber feet.
Oscillator Options:
- Crystal or ceramic resonator with external capacitors (DC-20MHz).
- Ceramic resonator with internal capacitors (DC-20MHz).
- RC oscillator (both internal and external).
- TTL oscillator (DIP-8 packaged).
All oscillator components are socketed for easy removal, and are configured via a jumper block.
Power Supply Options:- 7805 voltage regulator and heatsink are built pre-installed.
- Power switch and power-on LED pre-installed.
- 2.1mm DC power receptacle is pre-installed for a user supplied power source such as
AC Power Adapter 9 VDC.
Pre-Installed I/O Components:- 4 push buttons.
- 4 LEDs.
- Piezo buzzer.
- RS232 driver chip and DB9F connector for serial communications.
- LCD socket with contrast adjustment pot.
- All I/O signals available on a 14 pin header.
