Receptacle .100 PCB Female 8-Pin

 

This is a 8-pin PCB mount receptacle for standard 0.1" (2.54mm) headers. It is designed to to accept male header pins in motherboard/daughterboard applications. It can also accept 22ga solid wire for breadboarding or jumper applications although the connection is not as solid as with a solderless breadboard. The 8-pins are arranged in one row. The overall dimensions are 0.8" x 0.14" x 0.46". The PCB soldering pin length is 0.13" providing a common 0.33" board clearance. The receptacles are end stackable -- two 8-pin receptacles can be used in place of a 16-pin receptacle.
