Robot Builder's Menu and Guide

This page helps you find what you need by giving a brief overview of each robot part category and then giving you quick links to more information and to shopping. Click on the orange links to navigate around this site or go to our home page for even more category links which appear on the left side of every shopping page.

Can I get a complete kit?Its easier to learn about building robots if you take it one step at a time. This menu breaks a fairly complex robot into bite-sized pieces (or byte-sized for you programmers) to make the information easier to digest. We think that this is a good way to both learn about robots and to plan your actual construction. If you try to do everything at once you are likely to end up with a mess. If you plan and build in small steps, you are almost guaranteed success.

In addition to the products listed on this page we carry a good selection of components (ICs, resistors, etc), tools and books to support your building efforts.
