Electronic kits provide useful electronic devices, teach electronics theory and are a relaxing, fun activity. Some kits produce complete products while others are designed to be be used as circuit building blocks for robots, alarm systems, P.A. systems or almost any other electronic project that crosses your mind. Its hard to build one of these kits without learning something about either electronic theory or the practical aspects of circuit building. Each kit comes with a circuit diagram and an explanation of how it works. Electronic kits are also a lot of fun -- some of us find that spending an evening huddled over a warm soldering iron is good mental therapy.
